Performance

All versions of the 2016 Honda Fit come outfitted with a punchy four-cylinder engine. Honda's legendary iVTEC system helps the 1.5L engine to churn out a pleasing 130 horsepower and 114 pound-feet of torque. Due to the Fit's lightweight design, it's an entertaining driving machine. While models equipped with the CVT offer the best possible fuel economy for this lineup, the six-speed manual gearbox elevates the Fit's fun factor. The Fit's snappy performance and responsive steering system may surprise people who have had their expectations lowered by sluggish competitors. The Fit is practical, stylish and fun to drive.

Interior

Despite the Fit's tempting price tag, it does not sacrifice any quality. In fact, the use of high-quality materials gives the cabin a very stout appearance. While the hatchback comes standard with cloth seats, the EX-L surrounds the passengers with leather upholstery. A balanced sitting position provides the driver with outstanding outward visibility. Like the front passengers, the rear-seat occupants will have ample legroom. If extra cargo room is needed, you can simply fold the Magic Seat completely flat.

Features

Even the base LX model comes standard with a rear-view camera and a five-inch display screen. Some of the other standard technology includes Bluetooth®, a USB port, and LED brake lights. The EX trim brings even more high-tech goodies, including a more powerful audio system and a Siri Eyes Free system for iPhone users. The most technology-packed model in the lineup is the EX-L with Navi trim. Aside from navigation, this trim also features HD radio.

Safety

Safety The 2016 Honda Fit's stoutly-built chassis enabled it to obtain a five-star safety rating. If you happen to be involved in a collision, the hatchback's extra barrier of protection will help to keep everyone secure. ABS and a tire pressure monitor come standard on all trims. Although the standard rear-view camera is effective, the Fit is also available with an even more dynamic backup camera. With the use of a well-placed camera, Honda's exclusive LaneWatch system can actually display real-time video of the car's blind-spot.

The 2016 Honda Fit continues to shine as one of the top hatchbacks in its class. The Fit's solid crash test scores and versatile design make it an economical option for families. A nimble on-road performance pushes the new Fit into a league of its own. To experience a test drive, we encourage you to stop by your local Crown Honda!
