Fun-to-Drive and Award-Winning Sedan

It doesn’t get much better than the 2023 Honda Civic Sedan. This award-winning four-door sedan has it all: fuel-efficient power, attractive styling, and plenty of technology. It’s a great choice for drivers who need a reliable car for driving around town, and it’s got plenty of giddy-up for cross-country road trips.

Once you take the 2023 Civic Sedan for a test drive around St. Petersburg, you’ll quickly see what all the fuss is about. This compact car is about as perfect as a vehicle can be, including the affordable MSRP of the 2023 Honda Civic Sedan.

Fuel-Efficient and Peppy Performance

The 2023 Honda Civic Sedan configurations include three trims and two engines. The base engine in the Civic Sport trim is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that achieves 158 horsepower and 138 lb-ft of torque. This engine delivers an EPA-estimated fuel rating of 30/37 MPG.

All Civic Sedan trims come with a continuously variable automatic transmission. Only the 2023 Civic Hatchback Sport and Sport Touring trims have an available manual transmission. The Honda Civic SI also comes with a six-speed manual. All Civic trim levels come standard with front-wheel drive.

The Civic Sedan EX and Touring trims have a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine with 180 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. The turbocharged engine is more fuel efficient than the standard engine, as the EPA-estimated fuel rating of 33/42 MPG shows. The turbocharged trims are fun to drive thanks to the added horsepower from the turbocharged engine and the agile steering.

Standard Honda Sensing Driver-Assistive Technology

The well-equipped compact car comes with the Honda Sensing suite of driver-assistive safety features. All trims have Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Forward Collision Warning, Forward Automatic Emergency Braking, Road-Sign Recognition, and Adaptive Cruise Control. The EX trim adds Blind Spot Monitoring, and the Touring trim has Front and Rear Parking Sensors, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and Rain-Sensing Windshield Wipers.

Intuitive Tech Features

The standard infotainment system includes a 7.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, one USB port, and eight speakers. The Sport and EX trims have an analog gauge system for vehicle information.

Drivers have to choose the Touring trim for a 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster. The top trim also has a 9.0-inch infotainment touchscreen that includes navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, HD Radio, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, four USB ports, and twelve speakers.

Convenience technology includes keyless entry, and a push-button and remote start. The Sport trim has automatic climate control, while the EX and Touring trims have dual-zone automatic climate control.

Attractive and Subdued Styling

After the polarizing style of the previous generation, Honda redesigned the Civic from front to back with a subdued and mature look. Now, in its 11th generation, the Civic looks better than ever, as critics compare it to high-end luxury brands with significantly higher price tags.

The 2023 Honda Civic Sedan is as attractive on the inside as it is on the outside. The Sport trim comes with black cloth upholstery and manually-adjustable front seats. The rear seats fold for extra cargo space. Exterior styling includes LED headlights with automatic high beams and 18-inch alloy wheels. The exterior styling fits the “Sport” trim name.

The EX trim has heated front seats, a power moonroof, 60/40 split folding rear seats, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The Touring trim is loaded with comfortable styling features, starting with the leather-upholstered seats with power-adjustable front seats. On the outside, the Touring sedan has fog lights and 18-inch alloy wheels.
