  •  Is it still eligible for any warrantees?
  • Is there a Carfax report available for this car?
  • Can I take it for a test drive?

Getting the answers to these questions is key, because it will help you determine whether the vehicle you’re looking at is worth purchasing for the price being asked. If the seller cannot (or will not) provide information about the vehicle’s history, consider it a huge red flag! Even a vehicle that looks great on the outside could be a total lemon.
